OHhhViola! Fall Master Class Day ~

Featuring guest artist and master class teacher Victoria Chiang, Professor of Viola at Peabody Conservatory and Artist Faculty at the Aspen Music Festival ~

​$15 entrance fee ~


Violists in grades 4 – 12 are invited to join Professor Juliet White-Smith for the 6th Annual Viola Day at The Ohio State University on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Registration opens Aug. 1 - Sept. 4.
Activities include viola choir, rhythm and movement classes, improvisation workshops and more!

New this year will be an elite viola ensemble open to talented high school students by audition. High school students will also have the opportunity to audition to perform in master class with Professor White-Smith.

​Guidelines and Application Form will be posted by December 1, 2018

~ Registration begins at 11:30am

~ Performance by Victoria Chiang, with pianist Alicja Basinska at 12:00pm

~ Master Class lead by Ms. Chiang at 12:30pm

~ Social hour/ Visit exhibits of violas from regional luthiers and dealers  2:30pm

~ Mini-master classes with local viola teachers (run concurrently) 3:30-5:30pm
